Dr. Jeffrey G. Demain, MD, FAAP, FACAAI, FAAAAI, was recently granted the prestigious 2024 Birch Award, a recognition for excellence and an ongoing dedication to providing exemplary care.
Awarded by Providence Alaska Medical Center, the Birch Award is granted to celebrate the extraordinary skills and compassionate service of a Providence-credentialed provider.
As the Medical Director of LUX Infusion, Dr. Demain embodies these qualities while demonstrating a tireless commitment to our patients and our staff, as well as the highest standards of care and our community.

With more than three decades of experience in the specialty infusion field, Dr. Demain is a preeminent immunologist who is known well beyond his role as Medical Director at LUX Infusion. He is also recognized for founding the:

An Affiliate Professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage WWAMI School of Medical Education.
Over the course of his illustrious career, Dr. Demain has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and four medical textbook chapters. Notably, his research explores insect allergies, biodiversity and the effects of climate change on respiratory health, among many other topics.
This work has been recognized with various accolades, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Leadership Award (2020) and the American Academy of Pediatrics Special Achievement Award (2021).
