LUX Infusion is thrilled to announce that Melanie Baldwin, an outstanding Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), has recently joined our growing team, coming on board to run our Fairbanks infusion clinic.
Highly accomplished and knowledgeable, Melanie will serve as a wonderful leader for our Fairbanks infusion team, supporting and enriching our efforts to consistently provide exceptional care throughout the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) and beyond.

Expertise & Professional Background
With experience spanning an array of specialties, Melanie provided care and nursing leadership for more than a decade before joining LUX Infusion to manage our Fairbanks clinic.
Her professional journey in healthcare started with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA. She subsequently earned her Master's degree from Auburn University in Alabama and, in 2025, plans to start Auburn's DNP program as the next step in a lifelong pursuit of learning.
Early in her nursing career, Melanie focused on postpartum nursing.
Since then, she’s had the opportunity to provide care across various specialties and in several settings, including (but not limited to):
Operating rooms and surgery centers for joint and spine surgery
Home health care
Intensive care units
This diverse background has contributed to Melanie’s extensive skills, well-rounded experience, and distinct compassion as a provider.
Matching these professional achievements, Melanie has earned a well-deserved reputation for her relentless dedication to delivering the highest-quality care.
Life Outside of Work: Beyond Nursing & Infusion Treatments
When Melanie isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as taking in the breathtaking beauty of Alaska.
An adventurer at heart, Melanie loves to explore the outdoors with her loved ones, especially when it comes to summertime camping with her husband, their 3 children, and their dogs.
She’s also a dedicated community member who cares deeply about giving back. That typically involves fostering dogs, volunteering locally, and promoting pediatric wellness with a mobile clinic she and her spouse started.
Originally from Georgia, Melanie moved to Alaska in 2022. As a wonderful addition to the Fairbanks community, Melanie continues to inspire many with her commitment to going above and beyond in whatever she does.
