Bleeding Disorders

Proactive, community-rich care for a life without limits.

Combining clinical expertise with deep community roots to help you navigate the complexities of living with a bleeding disorder.
Overview

A total care ecosystem for the bleeding disorders journey.

Success in bleeding disorder management isn’t found in a vacuum. While your Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) designs your clinical strategy, LUX Infusion fights the daily battle of executing it with a tight loop of communication that ensures your care stays in motion between clinical visits.

A care model that goes where other infusion pharmacies don’t.

LUX Infusion carries a rich legacy of supporting the bleeding disorders community with a model that extends far beyond the traditional infusion center.

To us, best-in-class clinical care and dose-to-assay precision is just the beginning—we dismantle insurance barriers through our Patient Navigation Program, offer a robust educational curriculum, encourage long-term mobility through our Points for Healthy Joints initiative, and highlight community resources and events to make sure you’re never navigating your journey alone.

Inherited Bleeding Disorders

Precision replacement therapy for hemophilia A, B, and Von Willebrand disease.

Inherited bleeding disorders require a lifelong commitment to prophylaxis and bleed prevention. With our dose-to-assay approach, we ensure that every unit of factor is clinically optimized to protect long-term joint health and prevent spontaneous bleeds.

  • Hemophilia A

  • Hemophilia B

  • Von Willebrand Disease (VWD)

  • Inherited platelet disorders

Proactive care for a life without limits

We prioritize your independence by providing the specialized factor and customized supplies you need for at-home self-infusion. Our clinical team offers comprehensive training to ensure you can manage your prophylaxis confidently, with professional in-site administration always available as a supportive option if your needs change.

Clinical reliability & precise execution

We prioritize strict dose-to-assay management, optimized prophylaxis through PK-driven dosing schedules, and 24/7 clinical availability to support your treatment goals. While we primarily facilitate at-home self-administration through patient education and supply management, we offer on-site infusions when closer clinical oversight or nursing assistance is required.

Rare Factor Deficiencies

Specialized access and procurement for ultra-low incidence factor deficiencies.

Patients with ultra-rare factor disorders require a partner with deep procurement expertise. These conditions demand a high-sensitivity approach to therapy, as standard pharmacies often cannot secure the rare factor concentrates or bypass agents necessary for stabilization.

  • Factor I Deficiency
  • Factor II Deficiency
  • Factor V Deficiency
  • Factor VII Deficiency
  • Factor X Deficiency
  • Factor XI Deficiency
  • Factor XIII Deficiency

Dedicated support for rare conditions

We ensure you have consistent, reliable access to the rare replacement therapies your condition demands. We empower you to manage your care through at-home self-infusion training, providing the specialized supplies and 24/7 expert oversight you need, with on-site infusion available whenever extra support is necessary.

Expert procurement & vigilant monitoring

We serve as a specialized procurement partner for your most complex, low-incidence patients. Understanding the volatility of rare factor supply chains, we prioritize redundant inventory management and strict cold-chain integrity to ensure uninterrupted access to concentrates. We manage the logistics of at-home factor delivery and provide the training necessary for safe self-administration, while maintaining on-site infusion capabilities for patients who require more intensive clinical monitoring. All this is delivered with detailed reporting on hemostatic response and product utilization to fine tune therapy for your most medically unique patients.

Acquired Bleeding Disorders

Rapid-response intervention for acquired hemophilia and von Willebrand syndrome.

Unlike inherited conditions you are born with, Acquired Hemophilia and Acquired Von Willebrand Syndrome often appear suddenly, typically later in life. These occur when your immune system mistakenly attacks your body’s natural clotting proteins, leaving you unprotected against bleeding.

Because these episodes are high-risk and unexpected, we act as a rapid-response clinical engine to secure specialized “bypassing agents” that allow your blood to clot using an alternative path, followed by biologic infusions that slow down the dysfunctional immune process causing the bleeding disorder in the first place.

  • Acquired Hemophilia
  • Acquired Von Willebrand Syndrome

Immediate intervention when it matters most

We provide the urgent clinical support and specialized therapies needed to manage, sudden, high-risk bleeding episodes. Our team prioritizes a seamless transition from acute clinical care in the hospital to our infusion locations, and then ultimately to at-home administration when you are stable enough to do so.

A rapid-response clinical engine

We function as a rapid-response clinical engine for acute cases, specializing in the immediate procurement and administration of inhibitory-bypassing agents to achieve hemostatic stabilization.

Beyond managing the high-frequency dosing required during the acute phase, we coordinate the delivery of immunosuppressive biologics aimed at inhibitor eradication. By providing consistent inhibitor titer monitoring and reporting, we facilitate a safe, clinically-supervised transition from the hospital to our infusion locations, and eventually to home-based care as the patient’s clinical profile stabilizes.
